This beautiful out of production Cross fountain pen was purchased from a retail pen company in NYC and is in MINT condition, even the inner and outer Cross boxes show virtually no wear. The lapis blue finish is speckled throughout with gold flakes and comes with a 18kt F ( Fine nib). This pen was manufactured in USA with US / German components and just by looking at and touching the instrument the quality is evident. Even after examining this pen under a lighted magnifying glass I cannot see any evidence that it was ever used and inasmuch as it has been in controlled temperature storage for 32 years I cannot remember even if has ever been inked.
